Unleash your wild side as we become animal conservationists and explore the world’s most endangered animals. In yoga, campers will learn animal poses and practice taming their emotions and instincts. In art, they’ll illustrate, paint, and sculpt the wildest creature creations. Let the wild rumpus begin!

July 10-14
July 17-21

Calling all fashionistas! We’re bringing back our most popular theme from last summer. In this stylish and creative camp, campers will explore a variety of fashion styles and create one-of-a-kind skirts and handbags. In yoga, they’ll practice runway moves and model-like postures. Come start a trend!

July 31-August 4

It’s time to think outside the box. In this creative camp, no electronics are needed. In art, campers will paint, sculpt and build a variety of games. In the yoga studio, cooperation skills, good sportsmanship, and patience are the name of the game. Come make your own rules and design your own fun!


Half-Day Camps: 9:00-1:00, $200/week

Full-Day Camps: 9:00-3:00, $250/week

Extended Days: 3:00-5:30, $12/day


Balance's Junior Counselor Program

Balance is looking for creative and responsible children, ages 11 and up, to join our team as Junior Counselors during summer camps. Being a Junior Counselor is a great way to gain leadership experience in a fun, creative atmosphere.   


Camp Policies and Information

Age Requirements:
Camps are for ages 4-10 with the addition of one preschool camp for ages 3-6. Campers must be 3 by March 1, 2017 for the preschool camp and 4 by March 1, 2017 for the other camps. 

Arrival and Dismissal:
Camps are held at St. Marks United Methodist Church at 701 Mississippi Avenue in North Chattanooga. Drop-off is between 8:50 and 9:00 am and pick-up is 12:55-1:00 pm for half-day campers and 2:55-3:00 pm for full-day campers. Extended day campers must be picked up by 5:30 pm. Parents should walk their child(ren) in each morning. Prior to the start of camp, you will be sent an email that will contain more information about your camp week.

Return Policy:
If your child is registered for a camp that he or she is not able to attend, first try moving to another session. A $30 administrative fee will be charged for all cancellations. Refunds for cancellations are not available less than three weeks prior to the start date of camp. Please call the studio to make cancellations.
